This is my first tattoo, fresh off the press. The key is a design based off 3 keys. My best friend has a victorian key hole on her back which is the inspiration.
Keys open doors and doors are shut/locked for different possibilities. Sometimes the key and turns perfectly, sometimes it needs a little jiggle (which resembles the obstacles and trials in my life) and sometimes the key doesn’t fit at all (paths I refuse to take). My full name is spelled in the ribbon and the tooth of the key. S - at the top. R - in the middle. And an old english font M - in the tooth of the key.
