I know anchor tattoos are cliche and mostly overused, but this tattoo is my anchor. Completely originally designed by my favorite(and only) artist Rob Reeves at Ink Addiction Tattoos in Jupiter, FL. I came to him, told him I wanted an anchor, and what he produced is better than I ever imagined.
I’m a Pisces and a dreamer, so most of the time my head is irrational and way up in the clouds. My closest friend, and ex-boyfriend, has always been an anchor of mine, pulling me down to the real world and helping me stay there. This is the best way to show not only my infinite love for him, but my gratitude and a constant reminder to stay grounded when life is rough. I also grew up at my grandparent’s marina, so it represents my childhood and love of the ocean and ships as well.
