This is my Eiffel Tower right after it was finished. I traveled to Paris for the first time only a few months prior to getting this tat. I was very excited and grateful that my mom allowed me to go, especially since I knew it was hard for her to afford it. I had dreamed of visiting Paris since I was a little girl; and when I got there I immediately fell in love with the city. It was absolutely beautiful, everything about it was lovely. I went with a group of kids from my high school and for my last night in Paris most of them wanted to go shopping while I along with a few others wanted to climb the Eiffel Tower. I set off with four other classmates and took the stairs to the second level and rode the elevator to the top. The view from the top of the tower was breathtaking. I have never seen anything so beautiful in my life. The city sparkled below as midnight of Easter Sunday hit. My tattoo represents not only my trip and the amazing time I had, but my love of travel and desire to see as much as the world as I can. And I love it.
