One of our nicknames for Miles our Shetlie that passed away in January was “The Colt”. He had a coltish air about him.
Miles was 13 when he passed away. After we got his ashes back; we opened the tin to find a silver metal tag attached to his bag of ashes with the number 13 stamped on it. I imagine it has something to do with the order of his cremation but the coincidence is nice.
Losing our beautiful dog was a heartbreaking way to start the new year. We’re hoping that by combining the thirteen and the horseshoe together we can turn our luck around.
