I got these tattoos for my grandmother that passed. I have others and we always joked about getting one with her initials on it when she died. She died at the young age of 62, I didn’t think it would be so soon that I would be fulfilling my promise. The sugar skulls represent The Day of the Dead in which the lives of the dead are celebrated, rather than mourning their passing. My grandparents were like my parents to me, and when my grandfather passes, I plan to ad his initials onto the man skull. Definitely my favourite tattoo I have.
