I got this skull/rose (or ‘Skose’ as I sometimes call it :)) as a representation of life and death. I wanted something old-school but with a realistic touch. I chose the skull because I think skulls are pretty bad ass and the rose to make it a little more subtle.  I designed it myself and got it done at Veni Vidi Vici Tattoos in the Netherland by Emma Din, who is a great artist. I think she did it in about 5 hours.
