I’ve always thought the will to live will always outweigh the ability to die so I’m not really into people that give up.” - Brent Smith As I went to Shinedown’s acoustic tour, Brent Smith discussed the song “45” and why he wrote it. It was a song about finding out how life is beautiful and not giving up. He used that quote to describe it. It hit me really deep and I had to get it tattooed on me. I’ve gone through a lot in my life when it comes to giving up. Actually going through my current semester of college has been an emotional train wreck and there were nights where I would have horrible breakdowns.
