I got my very first tattoo on my birthday, 4/15/94, which is also the same day and month that Leonardo Dav Vinci (the artist of this beautiful piece) was born. It’s perfect because I do so much with human proportioning in artwork. He was also a Renaissance man, and I’ve been going to fair since I was a little seamonkey in my mother. And for those 3 reasons I found that this was the perfect fit for me. I got this at the sister store of Temple Tattoo, 13 Tattoo on Telegraph in Oakland/Berkeley. My artist was Dan Gilsdorf.
