this is my fifth and biggest tattoo, it is on the inside of my right calf believe it or not. it is for my great grandmother that has recently passed at age 93 due to a stroke. the cards spell love wich represent both her love of playing cards in general (not a gambler) and the fact that all she did was love, the flowers (which you can only really see one) are wild violets, a lilly and a lilsacs, the wild violets are the ones you can see. i love this tattoo for two reasons, the meaning behind it and the fact that i loved my grandma, and the experience was very mixed, being awesome and sad and painful and long, the artist is one of a kind, he has done four of mine, and he is the nicest person i have ever met, while still being funny. i pretty much let him do what he wanted with the exception of some of the colors, i wouldnt have thought to put the teal in the cards or make the banner gold, or outline the whole thing in blue. he is truly an artist and his work should be shown to everyone
