This my 3rd tattoo. :)
I got this as a present for my mom for Mother’s Day.
I couldn’t decide what to get my mom for mother’s day so I got a tattoo of her on my right arm. I’ve always loved tattoos and I love the fact that it’s never gonna come off. Just like she’s never gonna stop being my mom.
The tattoo is inspired by the work of Danny Roberts. An incredible illustrator who does really ethereal watercolor portraits. I wanted the tattoo to look like watercolor because I think it’s one of the most beautiful mediums and I love its delicateness and fragility. Exactly the same way as I view my mother.
I decided to have her hair in a bun because I want her face to be the focus and I’ve always thought she was most beautiful when her hair is tied loosely. I added the peach rose at the top because it represents gratitude.
The text on the bottom says “Unconditional love.” I believe that only a mother can truly give absolute love and this statement holds true to what me and my mom has gone through. I’m in love with it so much and the tattoo artist did such an amazing job!
