I decided to get this as my first tattoo because when I was diagnosed with diabetes 10 years ago I knew I would have it for life. It plays the biggest role in my life everyday. Good or bad. It also doubles as a safety measure incase EMTs need to help me in an emergency, they will know that I have Type 1 Diabetes. In all I love this tattoo and how it came out. The best thing is that the person who does my tattoo’s is also one of my best friends so I enjoy getting them. Done by Kevin Lockwood out of High Voltage Tattoo’s in Batavia, NY.
