Tattoo done by Jarod Powell of FARSYDE TATTOO in Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii
The Anchor with banner for my parents who keep me “anchored” or grounded. My 5 family members initials on the anchor. Sugar Cane and Taro (Hawaiian staple food) remind me of who I am and where I came from. Meaning, my Dad worked for the Sugar Plantation for 20+ years and I grew up in a plantation camp surrounded by sugar cane. And Taro is what my parents are farming now. It’s our ROOTS. Thanks to my buddy Jarod. He does all of my tattoos! ALOHA!
