Back in December Fuck Yeah Tattoos posted the Sailor Jerry ship I had done on my arm… later that night I received a message in my inbox that said, “So I creeped your blog after seeing your post on FYT… you are awesome.” It grew from tumblr messages into facebook IMs, from facebook IMs to texts, from texts to nightly skype dates (sometimes 5 hours long), and finally from skype dates to flying out from Rockford to Buffalo, NY to meet her in person for the first time.
While in Buffalo, we stopped by Holy Ground and had her guy, Bird Thief, tattoo the buffalo on me because she called me Rockford and I called her Buffalo in the beginning.
She just visited my hometown for the first time and my artist, Isaac velasco from Delicious Ink in Rockford, IL, did her tattoo with our favorite Bayside lyrics.
I just want to give a huge thanks to Fuck Yeah Tattoos! for existing. Because of this blog I have met the person I am supposed to spend the rest of my life with and couldn’t be happier. The distance stinks but one day it will all be worth it because she is worth it.
