My dad was born and raised in a small house in the even smaller town of Florence, NJ. After he and my mom met and married they bought the house he grew up in off of my grandfather and thats the house that I was brought home to after I was born. All of my first memories are in that house. The smell of the hardwood floors, my dads old orange and yellow bedroom and the big dog we used to have when we lived there. Since then we’ve moved at least 4 times, but it’s been good to know my roots. That tiny house on 4th Street in that little town on the river is where I was raised and was the first place I called home, and the only place my dad called home for most of his life. This latitude and longitude tattoo pays homage to that place.
