I am inspired to share my tattoo after seeing all the great pilot/aircraft tattoos recently posted in honor of everyone’s grandparents. This is portrait of my grandfather, the strongest yet most compassionate and good humored person I’ve ever known.  He passed away a few months ago, 11 months after my mom (both from cancer).  He was the male role model in my life.  I hope by the time I finish medical school,  to be at least half as great as them.  I love you and will see you both again. I flew down to Kissimmee, Florida for a 6 hour session with Bodah at Armadillo Red’s.  He’s a great artist and an even greater guy.
