On my mom’s 50th birthday, she took me and my sister to get tattoos! She got a Bible verse on her ankle, my sister got an ouroboros, and I got this ladybug.
Since I was born, my mom has called me her “Katie-Bug” and has bought me countless cards and trinkets featuring ladybugs, always insisting that they were, in fact, Katie-Bugs. My first tattoo, done together with my mom’s, made getting a tattoo dedicated to her a no-brainer for me. It turned out perfectly, I couldn’t have asked for anything better!
