Covering up some old scars from my past… quite literally. It is an insensitive not to cut again as it has now been 5 weeks since I last. Whenever I look down I will not see the scars from the bad times but a reminder of the good.
This isn’t the only reason for mine getting this. I’ve wanted this tattoo forEVER! It is a pirate ship; a symbol of freedom and a symbol of not following a “conventional path.” I also love the idea my dad was kicked out the navy as a young adult and so it sorta has a lot to do with that.
