This is my tribute to Tegan and Sara, and my 22nd Birthday present from my beautiful girlfriend. Tegan has a similar tree tattoo on her forearm, and I fell in love with it years ago. I can’t imagine what my youth would have been like without T&S. It’s a symbol of my love for the band, and also a reminder to always stick to my roots.
The tattoo was done by my good friend Ricky Goddard at Outlaw Ink in St. Joseph, MO. He’s a brilliant artist, and one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. I refuse to ever go to anyone else.
