This dragon/geometric flower design was done by Senhao Yang in Taipei, Taiwan. I have been living in Taipei for almost 2 1/2 years now and met Senhao when he was just starting out as an apprentice. I started by helping him out with his English, and he tattooed me in return. Over the past year and a half he has become one of my best friends here. Taiwan has a rich tattoo culture and Senhao’s work is a product of that. He combines traditional oriental with old school tattooing, and this tattoo he did on me showcases his unique style the best. This year is “the year of the dragon” in Taiwan and represents my time here spent in Taipei. Senhao has partnered up with his longtime friend “Rice”, who is also from Taiwan.
