This is the tattoo I got for my brother. I was getting it as a surprise to show him when he was in hospice care, but he died the day before I could show him. When I was a kid, he worked on an Arco oil ship. I was on vacation near Seattle, Washington, with our aunt during my 7th grade summer, and his ship was docking at Cherry Point near Seattle (hence the cherry). My aunt drove me to see him, and he took me on a tour of the ship. He even let me steer the ship though it was obvious we weren’t exactly going anywhere because the ship was docked (hence the helm). :)  We always joked about that, and I was always so impressed with my big brother for working on such a big ship. That’s his actual signature at the top of the tattoo.RIP Matthew Dean Taylor…I love you!!!!
