This is a portrait of my 5X great uncle Wild Bill Hickok.. there was a story that he was hunting in colorado.. and while he was sleeping a bear stole his food, after tracking the bear down, he emptied both revolvers into it, and it didn’t die, so he jumped on it and finished it off with his knife, and wore it’s skin home. This was done by Russ Abbott out of Decatur Georgia.
