My Harry Potter tattoo. In the top corners on the pages of the books there are three stars, and in the front of the first book there is a little cluster of 12. I decided to get 7, one for each book and because I liked the aesthetics of it. Instead of giving a huge story, I’ll summarize with that reading Harry Potter has been an escape for me so many times during life. I’ve really felt an attachment to them, and I think that could be because J.K.R. was fighting with depression while writing the series. There are many themes in the book that I identified with, and I learned many different lessons from reading the series that I honestly probably couldn’t have learned from reality at the time. I still re-read the books for enjoyment, and I’ll always have a connection to them as they were an important part of me battling my own downfalls.
