I have a butterfly on my forearm (posted by fyeahtattoos in 2010!) that represents my soul’s journey through my experiences in life. Although many of those experiences are unexpected (both good and bad), I have control over how I deal with them and how I grow from them.
My moon adds to the same theme, representing those things that we cannot control, and the universality of life’s struggles. Every person on this planet has a moon in their sky, and no matter how hard they might try there is no changing that. You can only accept it’s existance and appreciate it for what it is.
The peachy colors and the dark outline were all purposeful.
