This is my first tattoo and I got it when I was eighteen. This tattoo means the world to me. Growing up in a small town, less then 500 people all we had to do that play video game or destroy the town, any Mario games were my favorite. Then with I was 16 I started getting into pretty heavy drugs.. heroin, ecstasy, acid, coke, etc. Then I was selling all these, too. Right before I turned 18 I went to jail and then went though an Illinois dept of corrections boot camp and was away from home for almost a year. I got out in December of 2010 and went to get this tattoo immediately. Its the invincible star from super Mario and it couldn’t be more appropriate. I’ve been though a lot growing up, and the experiance of jail, prison, and bootcamp and its a constant reminder that no matter how had it gets, I can make it though anything. And I’ve now been sober for over two and a half years, keeping my head up :)
