The image of half girl, half Hannya. The Japanese myth of the Hannya mask: She was a beautiful girl who was in love with a priest, but the priest could not be with her because he was devoted to his dues. The woman became full of rage, jealousy, and grew furious. Therefore, she became a monster (Hannya).
This is my first session with the Hannya/woman tattoo. I got this tattoo because this story portrays how us humans, become monsters and become something we’re not just because we can’t have what we THINK we want most. Also, Hannya masks are used to keep away bad spirits.
