the flowers are scarlet begonias and the middle is a keyhole i drew myself and i had done when i was 16 by Duck at Excalibur in Shelton, CT.
I love the middle piece but it got so lonely and i wanted Scarlett Begonias so bad because of my love for the grateful dead and how much i’ve been through with their songs and how great they make me feel and a symbol of my uniqueness :)
The middle piece is original and it symbolizes how one day i will get out of Connecticut and how much i have freed my mind and because of the secrets that ive found out about my family. i love this tattoo so much and Sleepy Hollow is one of the only places i will go for work like this. the amount of detail she put in the flowers is amazing. it took 3 sessions to finish. :) oh yeah, it didn’t hurt….lol
