This is my first tattoo. I thought for a long time about what I wanted for my first tattoo and I knew that it had to be something Harry Potter related. I grew up reading the books and saw the movies when they came out to theaters. I couldn’t decide on my favorite character, I love them all too much so I thought I would get the very last line in the Deathly Hallows as it is my favorite book.
“The scar had not pained Harry for nineteen years. All was well.” It’s the end, the conclusion when things are finally going “well” for Harry and all of the other characters, Voldemort’s gone and he can finally be safe and happy. I had a rough childhood and moved around constantly, reading Harry Potter helped me become who I am, it made me happy and Hogwarts was a home for me. I’m absolutely in love with my tattoo and I can’t wait to have my children and grandchildren ask me about Harry Potter and I can introduce them into the world of Harry Potter.
