I drew this a few years ago because a friend of mine wanted to get matching tattoos. After she died last January, I decided to get it for both of us. The story behind it is basically just that the principles of Buddhism and nature go hand in hand, and I like to live by both of them.
It was done a few weeks ago by Miguel at Rose Tattoo in Miramar, California. I’d recommend him to anyone. Not only is he a great artist, but he’s also fucking hilarious.
