Done at East Side Tattoos on Bethnal Green Road, London.
My first tattoo as a gift from my boyfriend for my 27th birthday and I’m over the moon with it.
Unfortunetly I cant for the life of me remember the name of the artist, but he was efficient, creative and enthusiastic and took my original idea and made it into something that was exactly what I pictured in my head.
For about a 5 year period my parents would have 1 or 2 japanese students stay with us over the Summer while they studied in a local school.  The girls that came they brought with them origami paper and taught me how to fold and create.
Forward over 10 years later and I’m still fasinated by origami and the patterns and mathematics behind it.  The crane in particular holds a great signifincance both in its actual meaning and what it means to me.
