This is my first tattoo, and I got it done at No Regrets Tattoos in Tallahassee, Florida.  I came up with the idea, because as a child Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree was my favorite book, and the first book I can remember learning to read as a child. The story is very close to my heart. So I talked to the artists and we came up with a more modern and whimsical version of the tree. So this is my own take on the tree. It was definitely very painful! Especially the part over my ribs. But so worth it. :)
