We had discussed photo-realistic tattoos and I was instantly excited at the prospect of having a duck done in this way. My friend and I love ducks. It’s an in joke that spans many years and still gives us great joy. We have collections of rubber ducks that people bring us from all over the world. I can’t even really explain it. So I went back a month later and sat for my photo-realistic duck. It hurt. It swelled enormous over the next few days and I could barely walk. But I cannot fault the quality of this piece and it sparks plenty of conversation whenever I get the opportunity to be barefoot!
