Paramore saved my life and inspired me to become a musician. The anchor is the symbol of the people, challenges, and obstacles weighing me down in life. It represents society’s views of what is the “truth” (what is right, fair, normal, etc.) that I’ll have to break free from to be my own person. I’ve always been in disagreement with society and this is my reminder to myself that I’ve got to carry that anchor rather than let it weigh me down forever.
