A quote by J.R.R. Tolkien in The Fellowship of The Ring, but the story behind wanting this has nothing to do with the book.
I was told when I was younger the when lights went out it was a guardian angel giving you a sign they were watching over you. Every time I have a bad day or night, lights always go out and it reminds me of my grandfather who passed when I was 7, hence the street lamp. I got it on the 15th anniversary of his death, and it’s honestly my favorite of all of mine. Done at Route 42 Tattoo in Ohio by Rob Harper.
