The band My Chemical Romance has been a big musical influence to me by helping me get through the divorce of my parents 5 years ago. A friend of mine first introduced My Chem to me in the 7th grade and I hadn’t looked back. At the end of 8th grade I went to my first ever concert which was the best night of my life. I got a tattoo of the skeleton marcher from the Black Parade album cover since it was the first album I listened to and fell in love with. The date tattooed is the date of the concert I went to. Every time I look down at it on my ankle, I smile because of how My Chem helped me overcome the divorce of my parents and hardship of Highschool.
