Second submission. This is mine and my best friends first tattoos. We’re both die hard Lord Of The Rings fans and we knew we had to get a matching tattoo that was LOTR related.
Anyone who has read LOTR will know that our tattoo is of the symbol Gandalf leaves for Stryder and The Hobbits at Weathertop after he fails to meet them at The Prancing Pony. It is the letter G in Cirth runes followed by three strikes to represent the date: October 3rd. Gandalf left this to The Hobbits to let them know that he’s still alive and that there is still hope. We got this tattoo as a symbol of hope for ourselves, and it also represents our promise of never ending friendship.
