I didn’t want to submit this right away because i was afraid that this would be one of the cases where a lip tattoo fades in less than a week. Anyway, I’ve had this for more than a month now! Got it the day after my 18th birthday and it still looks good as new. Well, there are two letters that are visibly lighter than the rest, but haven’t showed any increase in fading at all. I’m sure a quick touch-up should do the job.
Since this was my first tattoo, I was super nervous and terrified about everything. How much is this going to hurt? Is it going to fade? Oh fuck? That being said, I ended up driving around the block before I finally parked with my friend and went in. I don’t know what I was so scared for! The guys working in the studio were so nice, honest, and helpful with everything. The pain? What pain? Getting my tongue pierced hurt more honestly, and even that was relatively painless.
Meaning behind it? Well, there’s a lot that went through my mind when thinking about getting this. First of all, it’s kind of a secret to have, considering it’s in my mouth an all. No one will know unless I deliberately show them. Then, I know everyone has their own secrets, especially me. Plus, sometimes secrets can be helpful or hurtful. There are some thing that need to be kept secret and there are other things that definitely need to be more open. Secrets can run your life!
