This is my gift to myself for my 18th birthday :) There’s no specific meaning to it, I just LOVE flowers and chubby adorable birds and I thought it would be a great accessory to my body and a fun piece of artwork to look at. I got it done by Shawn Hebrank at Identity Tattoo in Maple Grove, Minnesota. He did such a fantastic and beautiful job and was SO much fun to talk to. It took 4.5 hours and was pretty painless until the last hour or so of intense shading. The picture was taken immediately after the tattoo was completed, so it’s really red and swollen. I’d totally recommend Shawn to anyone looking to get a tattoo of anything nature/animal related. He’s really great.
