This is my first tattoo which I designed myself. I had it done by Fabio La Rocca at Tahiti Tattoo in Acireale, Sicily. It didn’t hurt a bit and I can’t wait to expand it, as it means an awful lot to me. The whole picture represents ‘duality’, which is my favourite song by Slipknot. I thought it would be a great idea also because I’m Bipolar, so it can symbolize my so called 2 sides of emotions/personality. The waves on the left side are from the Japanese painting by Hokusai, called the Great Wave of Kanagawa. These waves will become bigger and more ‘powerful’ because water is my element and it will be a tribute to my other favourite band Of Mice & Men.
