This is my 4th tattoo done by Nina from Laughing Buddha in Seattle, WA. It’s essentially dedicated to my mom, but there’s a short story behind it. When I was a kid, I walked home from school everyday, my house was set upon a small hill, and whenever I got closer to approaching my house, swarms of dragonflies would fly around, and it scared me to death. One day, when I was about ten, my parents and I went to the park to have a quiet lunch together. As we’re eating, a giant, blue dragonfly landed on my mom’s shoulder, she gently picked it up and placed it in her hair. It looked so beautiful and delicate with the sun reflecting off of it’s wings, and that’s when I learned that there is beauty in everything. Submitted by SleeplessSeattlelite
