This was my 5th tattoo. I got it with my mom for my 18th birthday in Atlanta at Liberty tattoo but it was done by a guest artist from Italy. The story behind it is my mom and I have wanted to get matching tattoos since I was younger but we wanted to to have a meaning not something that just showed we loved each other cause thats what everyone does. So she always used to sing Black Bird by the Beatles to me when I was little so we wanted a back bird and something that represented the line “black bird singin in the dead of night” so thats what we told the artist and we just let him sketch something up and this is what he came up with and we loved it.
Liberty tattoo is a great shop to go to if you’re in Atlanta. Highly recommend.
