this picture shows my tattoo and the doll that was based off of. i think it’s pretty exact and beautiful. i got it because this doll was sent from my grandfather’s brother, uncle bobby, to his parents when he was in the vietnam war. a year ago, uncle bob committed suicide. this tattoo has so many meanings to me though. first off, it’s to remember how much i loved uncle bobby. second, it’s to show my love for learning about history. third, it was to cover my self harm scars. it is a daily reminded of what i’m living for and why i’m still alive.
