Divenire means “to become”. My sister and I got the tattoo together. The song was used in a tribute video on youtube. We searched to find the song, and discovered it was composed by Ludovico Einaudi. We attended his first concert in the United States, and subsequently attended another show where I got his signature of the word. I guess the broadest meaning is of the tattoo to us is freedom, to become whoever you want. The song, and his other music, is so beautiful and inspiring. I consider the tattoo to be an art piece that reminds me every day of my love of music, my sister, and that life exists in real time and I should use each day wisely.
