This is my first tattoo done by Saira Hunjan @ Good Times Tattoo in Shoreditch- London UK. (It was a really nice studio and I would definitely recommend it- all the artists they have are fantastic )

Saira is one of my favourite artists and I had been on her waiting list for around 2 years when I got an email indicating that she had actually quit tattooing and was only finishing work in progress and I was absolutely heart broken but last week I got a call saying I was still on their back up list and they had a cancellation in 2 days time and would I like the appointment.. I jumped at the chance ( I was having a terrible week and actually cried a little with happiness ). I love Saira’s work so in the phone conversation I had with her I just told her I wanted a patterned heart and let her run with it. Although I would love her to do all my work I respect her decision to move away from tattooing because.. well I guess you have to follow your heart.
I was really nervous and expected a lot of pain- I guess the tattooing process effects everyone differently and Saira happens to be really light handed to so practically didn’t feel a thing. I’m trying to make sure I take good care of it.
I am so incredibly in love with this tattoo.
