I bought this tattoo for my fiance for his 28th birthday. Its from the cover of In Flames album Sounds of a Playground Fading. Anders, the front man for the band said this about the album;
“I tried to play around with words a little bit and see what works, and what album titles were striking.  I wanted to make people think a little bit. I was watching documentaries and reading about the world in general, and there is a huge part of the planet that is still untouched by man, still innocent.  The world around us isn’t going to live forever, so we need to stop thinking like we are. Then I was thinking, ‘What if we only had a few years left? Would that change the way we view things? What kind of issues would that raise? What would we do to defend the earth, our friends and loved ones?’ That’s pretty much the overall theme of the album.”
This statement is why my fiance got the tattoo.
