I took this picture the second I took off the bandage. “Allegory of the Cave” is an allegory by Plato. It has multiple interpretations, but I perceive it as a teaching for overcoming ignorance, as well as the understanding that you can’t force enlightenment upon somebody, and also as a reminder to not let a single idea consume you because true truth is learned beyond this life. I want those concepts to stick with me for the rest of my life, and now they will.
