The idea behind it is that the tree represents resilience, coupled with an appreciative nod to the music that helps revive me when I become disenchanted or heavy with the weight of living. I chose a Brand New reference mostly for nostalgic reasons.
Jason is a wonderful dude/artist and I highly recommend seeing him if you’re in the area and looking to get a tattoo.
