This is my tattoo based on a photo of my Dad in 1985, the year after I was born. He decided to sign up to walk in our hometown parade dressed as a barbarian for no reason at all. He carried a sword and owned it. The tattoo is a constant reminder to never betray who you really are, no matter what anyone else thinks. Tattoo by Jason Vaughn at Deluxe Tattoo, Chicago.
