The Aum symbol has two meanings for me. One, it represents my healing through meditation. Meditation has been such an important aspect of my recovery and I will have it with me the rest of my life. Secondly, it represents the book Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse. This book was one of my all time favorite books. It talks about the path that Siddhartha took towards enlightenment. It is so inspirational and I could read that book over and over.
