A big thanks to Andrew from Living Canvas in Columbia, MO for giving me my first tattoo. ‘Allons-y!’ means ‘Let’s go!’ in French.  It was made popular by the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) in Doctor Who.  The phrase began to mean a lot to me after falling in love with the show. In the moment of deciding that I was going to get a tattoo, I turned to my roommate and said, “You know what? I’m going to get a tattoo on Friday.  Allons-y!” And then I realized right there, that Allons-y was actually the perfect thing to get for my first tattoo.  To me, it means more than just ‘Let’s go!” It sort of means “Lets go live life to the fullest” sort of deal…I hope that makes sense!
