While on a hike through the mountains, I was overcome by the beauty of nature and how small and insignificant we are as humans, though we tend to think we’re more important. I got this tattoo to remind me to always stay humble and that there is more going on than the small things happening in my life. My tattoo was done by Dave Hatton at Artistic Element 2 in Los Angeles, California. He normally does much more detailed portraits, but did this for me as a favor on my last day in California! Also, the words aren’t crooked, I’m just laying at a weird angle.
